JAKARTA, NNC - State-owned aviation company Garuda Indonesia (IDX:GIAA) has again become the official flight choice for the Indonesia National Police (Polri), following the signing of the Garuda Indonesia Corporate Sales and Police Cooperation Agreement. This cooperation is a reflection of previous cooperation that has existed since 2015.
Nina Setyowati, Director of Marketing & IT at Garuda Indonesia, said that with the signing of this cooperation, Garuda Indonesia becomes the official flight for all members of Polri and affiliates for both official and non-official travel.
Through this agreement, in addition to the special rates provided, all members of Polri and affiliates also receive additional benefits such as penalty flexibility for changes in the economy class.
According to Nina, the partnership with Polri is part of the company’s effort to maximize the potentials in the corporate market, given that Polri have personnel power of more than 430,000 officers throughout Indonesia.
"This cooperation is also our effort to support the important role of Polri in carrying out its duty to maintain and provide security and order to the community," Nina said in Jakarta.
Meanwhile, Police Brigadier General Wahyu Widada, Head of Bureau for Assessment and Strategy of Human Resources Staff at Polri, welcomed the cooperation between Garuda Indonesia and Polri.
"The high activity and mobility of Polri members certainly need easy access to carry out our duties.With a wide network that can reach almost all regions in Indonesia, Garuda Indonesia is of course the right choice for us. In the future, this cooperation will be developed again,” he added.
