Garuda Indonesia OTP Reaches 90.23 Percent at 2018 Eid

JAKARTA, NNC -- National airline Garuda Indonesia successfully recorded an on time performance (OTP) of 90.23 percent during the peak season of 2018 Eid.

Based on data from the Ministry of Transportation, Garuda Indonesia recorded the best OTP achievements for national airlines with flights above eight thousand flights in the period June 7 to 24, 2018.

Garuda Indonesia also managed to record the highest OTP achievement in the peak period of homecoming flow of 95.8 percent in the period June 14-16, 2018.

"Garuda Indonesia consistently maintains the record of punctuality with the best performance since entering the peak season of 2018 Eid. This achievement can be achieved thanks to the support of all stakeholders from the Ministry of Transportation to other airport service lines," said President Director of Garuda Indonesia Pahala N. Mansury, in a statement received by NNC, Monday (6/25/2018).

During the peak season of 2018 Eid, Garuda Indonesia recorded the achievement of passenger transportation amounting to 1.2 million passengers. This is in line with the airline predictions that projected increase in passenger transport would reach three percent compared to last year's period.

Meanwhile, several aviation sectors recorded significant passenger growth such as round trip routes of Jakarta - Surabaya, Jakarta - Yogyakarta, Jakarta - Malang, Jakarta - Solo, Jakarta - Padang, and also international round trip routes such as Jakarta - Singapore and Jakarta - Kuala Lumpur.
