LAMPUNG, NNC - Lampung Province has allocated 20 percent of its village fund budget for the first phase in June 2018, from the total IDR 2 trillion budget (around IDR 400 billion). However, there are three villages in North Lampung District that have not received funding from the State-Budget.
The IDR 400 billion fund for the first phase of the village fund had been distributed to 2,435 villages in Lampung. Head of Village of the Lampung Village Community Empowerment Office, I Wayan Gunawan explained that the three villages have not received the village fund because it have yet fulfilled some of the requirements demanded by the local government.
"Those three villages will not likely receive the funds in the near future as its still uncertain of its plan, therefore it cannot be disbursed and has not complete the 2017 Letter of Liability (SPJ) and the 2018 Plan," Wayan said Sunday, July 1.
The second phase will be distributed in July. There are currently 6 districts in Lampung to have received cash from the central government's treasury. One of the requirements of receiving a village fund is to submit an activity report for the first phase.
"Until today, there has not been any record of districts/cities channeling funds to villages, but the money will likely be transferred to the disctrict's treasury in the near future as all have already submitted the report to the central government concerning the first liquefaction," he said
