JAKARTA, NNC - Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan reviews the System Acceptance Test (SAT) using the first Jakarta MRT train series from the Lebak Bulus Depot via the up-track rail and stopping at the Hotel Indonesia Roundabout (Bundaran HI) Station.
SAT in this main line is testing of the signaling system, railroad tracks, telecommunications and overhead contact systems.
"We have just finished trying out the first MRT Jakarta train series from the Lebak Bulus Depot to the Hotel Indonesia Roundabout Station. Alhamdulillah [thanks God], it went smoothly and the shock we used to feel when we boarded train, we did not feel it. It's very pleasant and very comfortable like riding escalator. I see there are still many testing tools installed to ensure all system functions work properly. [Jakarta MRT train] can become a new icon of Indonesia," said Anies Baswedan at the location, Jakarta, Thursday (08/23/2018).
President Director of PT MRT Jakarta William Sabandar conveyed the treatment during SAT. "At the moment we are conducting a low-speed train test of around 20 km per hour so the trip takes one hour. Later, when it is operating commercially, the travel time from Lebak Bulus Station to Hotel Indonesia Roundabout Station is only 30 minutes," explained William.
"SAT will be carried out until December 2018, followed by a full three-month run trial to commercial operations in March 2019," continued William.
The entire series of SAT testing is carried out by PT MRT Jakarta in order to ensure that the technical aspects, security, comfort and reliability of the system can be fulfilled in serving the community in the future.
