Bumi Serpong Damai Donates Waste Deodorizer to Cipeucang Landfill (special)

SOUTH TANGERANG, NETRALNEWS.COM - The damage to the embankment at the Cipeucang Landfill (TPA) in South Tangerang City at the end of last month had caused the air to smell bad. This is caused by a pile of landslides at the landfill.

As a form of corporate social responsibility and responsibility for the incident, Sinar Mas Land, through PT Bumi Serpong Damai Tbk, delivered aid in the form of a drug to eliminate waste odor to the South Tangerang City Environmental Service as the manager of the Cipeucang landfill.

Syukur Lawigena, representing the leadership of Sinar Mas Land, delivered the aid to the Head of the South Tangerang City Environmental Office Toto Sudarto at the South Tangerang Environmental Service Office, Banten, on Thursday (6/18). The assistance was in the form of 1,000 liters of Neuroklin C20 and 500 liters of B8 Bioactivator.

"We hope that this assistance will make it easier for South Tangerang Environmental Service officials to eliminate the odor from the leftover waste. We will not forget to thank the officers who worked hard to overcome the situation since the incident up to now," Syukur said.

The delivery of this assistance is part of a series of activities of the 17th BSD Green Festival. CSR Sinar Mas Land BSD City held the festival in commemoration of World Environment Day every 5th of June.

In addition, CSR Sinar Mas Land BSD City also organizes online education for the community and Sinar Mas Land employees in the form of webinars with the theme 'Wisely handling waste and household waste utilization'.

This webinar will be held on Wednesday (24/6), and will be filled with presentations from Supendi Akbar as a practitioner and environmental activist.

The activity is also an implementation of the company's commitment to protect and preserve the environment by educating the public to be more aware and caring for the environment.

It is hoped that the public can utilize waste thereby reducing the volume of individual and household waste.
