JAKARTA, NETRALNEWS.COM - The Indonesian Ministry of Social Affairs continues to promote the role of the private sector in assisting disaster victims in the country, including those in East Nusa Tenggara (NTT).
"I continue to invite the private sector to join hands in aiding victims of disasters and the Covid-19 pandemic," said Social Affairs Minister Tri Rismaharini, accompanied by Director General of Social Empowerment Edi Suharto, when receiving aid from Enesis Group in the Lobby Room of the Ministry of Social Affairs, Salemba, Jakarta, on Wednesday (04/28/2021).
Tri Rismaharini, also known as Risma, sadi Indonesia is located in the ring of fire, and is very vulnerable to natural disasters. Moreover, during the rainy season there is a shortage of water in NTT.
"Conditions in Indonesia are like that. Thus, it is necessary to join hands with various parties, including the private sector, in assisting disaster victims," said the Minister of Social Affairs.
Enesis Group delivered its Antis sanitizer product to the Indonesian Ministry of Social Affairs. The aid was immediately distributed to disaster victims in NTT through the local government.
"On behalf of the government, we thank Enesis Group for the assistance, and will immediately distribute it through the local government. Remember, it would take some time to distribute the aid due to the terrain there," said the Minister of Social Affairs.
Enesis donated one million Antis Hand Sanitizers worth IDR1 billion for victims of natural disasters in NTT Province to the Ministry of Social Affairs.
Ita Karo Karo, Head of Marketing for Enesis Group, said the assistance is a company commitment and a form of concern for disaster victims.
