Until April 23, Village Funds Distribution in South Sulawesi Reaches IDR600 Billion

SOUTH SULAWESI, NNC -- Village Fund Disbursement for South Sulawesi Province, up to  April 23 has reached 26.47 percent or IDR527,359,982,600 of total budget of IDR1,992,516,862,000. The data is mentioned by the Village Community Empowerment Agency (DPMD) of South Sulawesi.

Distribution from the Regional General Treasury Account to the Village Cash Account has only reached 4.88 percent and the utilization of the budget at the village level has reached 11.29 percent or IDR10,969,551,000.

Secretary of South Sulawesi PMD Office, Sentot Irawan explained, this year there are three stages of disbursement, which are 20 percent, 40 percent, and 40 percent.

"Stage one from RKUN to RKUD has been absorbed as a whole, but going into the second phase it should reach 40 percent, but not yet achieved. Currently, there are four areas that have disbursed the funds," said Sentot, Wednesday (5/2/2018).

There are four districts that have disbursed the funds, which are Soppeng, Bulukumba, Bantaeng and Luwu Utara districts, worth IDR128. 856.610.800 or six percent. Sentot claimed to have sent a letter to the relevant regional office in order to immediately accelerate the disbursement.

"If stage one has not been all utilized, then the second cannot be disbursed," he explained.
