Tens of Dozens of Cicurug Residents Suffer Food Poisoning After Feast

Residents were rushed to public health center.

CIANJUR, NNC - Tens of dozens of residents of Cicurug Village, Ciranjang Village, Ciranjang District, had food poisoning and had to get medical treatment at Ciranjang Public Health Center on Saturday (6/30/2018) after having a meal at a celebration event.

Health Office of Cianjur, West Java, Sunday (7/1/2018) stated the number of people suspected of having food poisoning reached 79 people and were rushed to Ciranjang Public Health Center for intensive care.

Until Sunday (7/1) afternoon, dozens of residents have been returned to their homes because their condition have improved.

“On average, they experienced symptoms of dizziness, nausea, and diarrhea," said Cianjur Health Department Head, Tresna Gumilar, a health officer at Ciranjang Public Health Center.

Meanwhile, Head of Ciranjang Sector Police, Police Commisioner Lubis said the police went straight to the house place of celebration to take food samples.
