JAKARTA, NETRALNEWS.COM - The Indonesian Ministry of Social Affairs, through the Directorate General of Social Rehabilitation, has invited Bertha as a vocal trainer to train people with disabilities in music ahead of the 2022 Asia Pacific Concert.

This innovation comes to see that people with disabilities themselves have different talents, including music.

"In the future, we will discuss music and vocal education programs for children with disabilities with the Ministry of Social Affairs," said Bertha, as in a written statement received by Netralnews on Wednesday (06/09/2021).

The Ministry of Social Affairs will collaborate with the Talenta Svara Bertha vocal school through the first stage. The first stage includes what is done to find out which persons with disabilities have the potential to be empowered.

"This is done because music is not only sounds, but there are many things that can be taken," said Bertha, owner of Talenta Svara Bertha.

Bertha said that if the childen with disabilities consistently practice, she is sure that the chidren with disabilities will achieve. They will be trained one by one according to their potentials. "Those who have the potential to play guitar are trained to play guitar, and bass guitar are trained to play bass guitar," she added.

Toni Brilianto, Director of Music at Talenta Svara Bertha, believes that in order to train a musician, one must know how skilled the musician is.

"The first step is to know the musicians who want to be empowered. We want to hear from the Ministry of Social Affairs, and then we can proceed further, from where do the musicians need touches or technically need arrangements and such," said Toni.

Toni hopes that at the 2022 Asia Pacific concert event, the musicians who will be empowered are musicians who already have the basics of music or musicians who are already professional, as these will support the performance of the musicians.
