Paulo Dybala: I Had Thought about Leaving Juventus (footballitalia)

TURIN, NETRALNEWS.COM - Paulo Dybala has admitted that he was close to leaving Juventus in the summer, amid interest from Manchester United and Tottenham.

Tottenham is seriously interested in the Argentine striker. The Premier League club has agreed to pay as much as 64.4 million pounds to sign Dybala in August last year.

It's just that the interest was far from being realized, and had withered before developing.

Manchester United also did not want to lose the wind. MU manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaeris interested in bringing Dybala last summer.

MU also failed due to no agreements that was reached with Dybala's agent.

Why did Dybala almost leave Juventus? He said his future was uncertain at the top of the Italian League.

Dybala is said to be uneasy at Juventus since being handled by Maurizio Sarri, who previously managed Chelsea.

"I almost left. That is precisely what the club is considering, and I know that. Until the last minute, we waited," Dybala told The Guardian.

"My contract is still two years away. It is not a short time but also not long," he said.

"Of course I will keep a close watch on what Juventus are planning for in the future. It's not impossible that they will let me go in the next transfer window, or they want me to stay here."

"The club has to make a decision. And things can change in seconds," Dybala said.
