JAKARTA, NETRALNEWS.COM - While there are a variety of delicious culinary dishes in many Chinese restaurants, finding a culinary dish at a Chinese restaurant that is Halal is often not easy to find.

However, culinary enthusiast Aris Risanti has shared a recipe on how to cook delicious dim sum that you can cook at home that is as delicious the ones at top Chinese restaurants. Here's how to make shrimp chicken dimsum:


500 gr chicken thigh fillet

250 gr peeled shrimp, chop coarsely

150 gr chayote, grated

1 spring onion, sliced

1 carrot, grated for topping


3 onions, fried well

1 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon pepper

1/2 teaspoon broth powder if desired

1 teaspoon sugar 

2 teaspoon fish sauce

3 tablespoon sesame oil

1 teaspoon oyster sauce

Additional Ingredients:

1 egg

5-9 tablespoon tapioca

dumpling skin


- Blend all ingredients, except shrimp

- After it is well blended, add the seasonings, eggs and mix again in a blender

- Add in shrimp and tapioca to the blended mixture, then shape according to taste

- Shape and steam until cooked

- Dim Sum is ready to serve
